The components are rated as claimed, though, as far as the output, a significant heat sink must be added if you want to push it over 200 watts. Melts razor blades pretty good as is. What is of critical importance is the coil, when you make the coil, do so with inductance in mind, a good operating frequency is roughly 150 KHZ. I used 12 awg solid core copper wire.

The parts may or may not be capable of 1000W but the connector for the coil fails long before then. All that current is bottlenecked through its tiny leads which melts its solder and causes the coil to just fall off. Lots of cooling and some mods to the PCB can get around this but it certainly can’t do 1000W out of the box.
