Good For Projects / Testing / Etc..

A lot of people talk about how watery this stuff is. But if they used a nail or something similar to stir it, they would realize that there is a lot of sediment at the bottom of the container. Just from sitting around. Really thick stuff that needs to be mixed back up with the thin stuff on top. After that, it becomes much thicker. You will need to stir it. I attempted to shake it just to see if that would do the trick.. It didn't work. You need to get that sediment moving around with something. This glue is good for certain things. In my case, I'm just using it to make sure that a low profile ZIF socket with very thin and wiry connectors / legs attaches to a project I am working on. I have had issues with certain ZIF connector legs losing connection randomly when plugged into a normal ...

  • Top critical review

Dry indoor use only. Water soluble.

It looks like it’s made from Elmer’s glue mixed with carbon powder. It’s water soluble, so has limited use. I suggest to change the formula to aliphatic type glue as it’s more water resistant. Even better yet use epoxy glue with a conductive additive.

  • Too thin for my needs

I havent been able to test yet but i have seen enough to believe it does. One thing you should know though is that this stuff is of a more watery consistency and not a paste/putty that can hold the wires in place while it dries. You have to be careful it doesnt drip on to something else you dont want to glue or power to conduct through, didnt work for my purposes because of that. If you need to attach a wire to something and cant solder you may be better off learning, or holding it in place maybe using a third hand and use hot glue. just my 2 cents.

  • DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

As an Electrician of 30+ years I know something of all types of connections involving All types of wire. I tried this product closely following label direction. IT DID NOT WORK AT ALL. The "physical" attachment wire to wire was effectively nonexistant nor was there any good conductivity across the joint. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

  • Some things don’t like to be soldered

Most things that I’ve run across with electrical issues can be fixed with the right replacement parts and solder. Then there are the things that don’t like solder, like the Mylar strips coated with conductive material inside electronic cymbals. This conductive glue worked well to make the repair. Just know that it has zero mechanical strength when applied (quite runny), so the parts to be connected must be secured and immobile. Also good to follow manufacturers advice by top-coating the connection with super glue or equivalent once the conductive glue dries to bolster mechanical strength of the connection.
