Zuni Cochiti Linda Eustace Bracelet Hand Carved Quality Natural Turquoise Link For Sale
Zuni Cochiti Linda Eustace Bracelet Hand Carved Quality Natural Turquoise Link:
Lucky us! I'm offering a superb bracelet all hand constructed with natural top quality turquoise which has greened with age, silver work of leaves and stems and raindrops. The hand made clasp is especially wonderful with a small snake eye turquoise stone set with serrated bezel, a unique stunning clasp. This is a gorgeous piece. It is 8" long end to end but you need room to clasp the piece and the links eat space, so the bracelet is suitable for a medium wrist about 6-1/2", or smaller and a link could be removed if your wrist is even smaller. If you remove a link to make it smaller you can use that link as a pendant. Remove two links and you have a pair of earrings! It is about 11/16" to 3/4" wide and weighs 21.6 grams. These natural stones are harder and harder to find. The work is superb. This is the kind of bracelet that is very much collectible and a similar piece by Linda Eustace appears in a discontinued book called Zuni Jewelry 3rd edition. by Theda and Michael Bassman page 43. I'll add a pic from that book to the pics above. I'm giving Linda Eustace the attribution based on that picture since it's not only got the Eustace family stations with the carved stones and hand made leaves and raindrops but also is linked similarly to the one in that book and has a similar clasp as well. It is stunning and recommended for the top collections.

Attributions on many of the old pieces of Native American jewelry are sometimes a moving target. All the books have errors, so in addition to counterchecking, I have developed some expertise over the years and I do care about getting it right, so as more information comes to light I update my listings and also get in touch with my previous buyers, to inform them of any changes in attributions. I am sincerely committed to ongoing accuracy.
