Neat piece!
Here is a vintage wood case from Kingsford\'s Starch. It has dovetail corners and includes the sliding lid. There is a paper label on one end and printed advertising on both of the wide sides. I am not sure of the age, but some on the internet \"suggest\" the late 1800\'s? If you know different, please contact me and I\'ll update my listing, Thanks!
The box is not in perfect condition, but it does have a very vintage look to it. It looks real, because it is REAL! It is solid and the lid works as it is supposed to. There is a about a 5\" small piece of wood on the top that must have broken off (see pictures #9 and #11). It is part of the box that guides the top in sliding on and off. There appears to be a splash of paint on that same side as well (See pictures #4 and #7). You could display the box so that people would not even see it, but I wanted you to know about it before you decided to offer.
The graphics are nice. I did NOTHING to clean this as I\'ll leave that for you to decide if it is necessary or not. I see this piece as beautiful the way it is. It could be cleaned I suppose, but I didn\'t see the need to do so.

Measures about 11” wide, by 6” tall, by 6 3/4” deep. Big enough to be seen, but not too big to display!
