Late Hudson Valley artist William “Bill” Huebbe (1929-2013).In a review of an exhibition of Huebbe’s work in 1999, the New York Times described his art as a blend of “Constructivism, Tramp Art and Geometric Abstraction. “ His most important sculptures generally depict monkeys or foxes arranged as separate sculptures, or imaginatively grouped in large chandeliers. The paint is chipping off the back of one monkey\'s arm as seen in the pictures.
