This is a 1949 Zippo lighter with etch and paint lettering saying A.A. Fort Worth 1-5-49 on the front and the name Florence D on the reverse. Both sides appear to be Zippo factory engraved. This lighter has been heavily used and the hinge was repaired by Zippo long ago. With the old repairs, this lighter is in great working condition with pretty typical wear. The insert is what came with the lighter as found.
