Sterling Brand gallon oysters tin from Sterling Oyster Co of Detroit , with a MD.81 stamp from Woodfield Fish & Oyster Co of Galesville , Anne Arundel Co, MD. I haven’t attempted to open the lid. Doesn’t appear to be anything inside. Not the most pristine, but a super-rare company / can and then combo with Maryland Woodfield’s stamp. Logo of the Continental Can Co of Baltimore on the bottom. Sterling was in business as of January 1942, but I’m not sure for how long before or after that date.
