Beingoffered is an antique, real photo photograph stereoview card. The card states Transportation over icy trails north of the Artic Circle Alaska. The image shows an Alaskan dog sled team.The back of the card has a description of thecard image. The card was made by the KeystoneView Company. The card is in goodcondition in that it shows no wearing, damage, and is clean so has been storedwell and seldom used if ever used. Thecard dis the standard stereoview card size, approx. 7\" by3 3/8\".

Stereoviewcards or Stereographs were a very popular form of photography in the late1800’s through the early 1900’s. Thecard was made by using a special camera, photographers would take two nearlyidentical images which, when printed side by side, would appear as a three dimensionalimage when viewed through a set of special lenses called a stereoscope. These were the TV set during the 1800’s. People would gather in the parlor and look atstereoview cards as entertainment or learn about other countries and placesthey have never been scene.
