This is a Boy Scouts of America - BSA 30 years old or more

Piedmont CA Council Patch S-1 1st Issue CSP Error and
Piedmont California Council Patch S-2 Correct from the mid - 70\'s.

Now you can get these superb patches from one source without hunting all over the internet.

This Original Council Error Patch S-1 shows the US flag on the Right side and the California (Bear) flag on the Left of the patch. The California flag is also missing the red star on the flag. This patch seems to be in very good condition. The patch is very soft and doesnt appear to have been used or sewn.

The Original Correct Council Patch S-2 shows the California flag on the right with the red star and the US flag on the left in excellent plus condition (and Hungteetsepoppi # 466 Lodge ).

Please Note:***** The consignor, who was in organized Scouting in multiple states and councils for well over a 30 year period, told me that only about 200 of the Original Error patches were produced. Most were recalled at that time and were returned to the Council Exec and the patch producer.*****
