This stunning pair of mid-century owl lanterns are cast from solid brass and are designed to be hollow so that a candle can illuminate them from inside. They have a beautiful perforated design with little lovehearts giving the impression of feathers. Both owls are in amazing original condition, neither has been cleaned for years and have acquired a beautiful patina. One has its original base cap so that can be used as a hanging lantern. It\'s not unusual for the caps to be missing from these lanterns. Please see photos for details.

Each owl measures 14cm tall x 10cm wide (5.5\" x 4\")

They are if very sturdy construction each one weighing just over 500g.
