P&O OCEAN LINER SS CANBERRA RARE JULY 1979 VISIT TO NYC DOCKED IN 8 PHOTOGRAPHS.

A wonderful series of 8 photographs of the Canberra docked in midtown NYC at Luxury Liner Row. It would appear she is docked at Pier 86, former home to the United States Lines and current home to the Intrepid. The photographer appears to be standing on Pier 84, former home to American Export and Italia. The city at this point had cleared the original pier shed. Canberra was a rare visitor to NYC, here she was doing a series of (money losing) cruises to the Caribbean. Photos are @ 3x5 and, great details and amazing shape. I ship International.
