Compagnie de Navigation Paquet - A stunning brass and enamel portrait pin for the MEDIE II, a combo liner on the Marseilles to Dakar route.

The pin measures 1.25\" wide by 1.75\" tall. The design consists of a brass anchor holding a green enamel medallion with the ship name at top followed by the CNP oval logo, with a profile of an African woman in the center, and a detailed partial portrait of the ship underneath. The original clasp is still on back along with the name of the manufacturer, Draco of Paris and Nice.

MEDIE II sailed the Africa route until War War II and then after, heading to the scrappers in 1952.
