GARBAGE ARCHIVE Presents: Rare Wax Garbage Pail Kids Chewy Candy Wrapper Lot of 3, Strawberry, Cherry, and Grape -with exclusive GPK character designs by George Evans! 33 year old candy wrapper!

These were made in Argentina by Stani, and distributed by Confex (who also made Monster Chews) in New Jersey, and across the US. These were produced one time and distribution was spotty, since these could not be ordered through Topps, instead dealers would had to have known about Confex or sold Confex candies in the past, etc, to get em. I personally only saw these once as a kid, it was an a 'party' candy mix bag in a random gas station. These came in no decorated container or display, instead dealers got them in a huge 240 count bags and had to figure out how to sell them. They would have been sold for a nickel or less each, depending on seller. Yet, they are from the "penny candy" realm, so they could be found for 1 cent each, or 2 cents, etc, up to a nickel.
