This is a New Old Stock Basket with vibrant colors. It does have one very small break in a weave on the very bottom of the basket as shown. This Bright Multi-Color weaving was first introduced in Sept 2008 and was promoted along with the Bright Multi-Color pottery pieces. Available through the end of Feb 2009, this special Cake basket included a Warm Brown riser which allows it to hold 2 full-size Pie Plates, sold separately.11L 6.5H.

Longaberger baskets are handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants. As a consultant for over 20 years, I have a great deal of inventory that was either stored or used for display purposes.
