This is a nice selection of GREETINGS postcards that have HUMOR / COMIC themes. The postcards would have been sent for BEST WISHES and FRIENDSHIP. The postcards are ANTIQUE from the early 1900s. They show people and dogs in various situations. These are nicely drawn and they have good detail that makes them pleasing to look at. Some of these have a "play on words". Overall, they are a nice selection of humor / comic postcards to add to a collection, and at a reasonable price.

The postcards are POSTED and they have UNDIVIDED backs. Most of these would have been "Printed in Germany".

Postcards with UNDIVIDED BACKS were used from 1901-1907.An undivided back is a good indicator of the age of the postcard and its historical significance.During this time period, ONLY THE ADDRESS could be put on the back, and any written message had to be done on the front of the postcard.These type of postcards are collector items because of their age, and because of the limited number of such postcards in existence today.Also, collectors like to own postcards that were published in the beginning years of the postcard hobby.

These are good postcards for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains and edge wear due to their age.The photos show the postcards and their backs.
