Very clean nice board with bright edge connector pads

100% Bench tested and game tested in a Haunted House pinball machine

I have Bench tested it with video game roms, Reactor, and Mad Planets roms

I do not have these games to game test. I only have the Haunted House pinball.

It will come with your choice of one set of these three choices of sound roms.

Or you could install your good roms from your dead board

Just let me know which.

According to internet research this sound board is backward compatible

with the non-speech PINBALL boards

In later models games, this is a MA-309 board and was produced to reduce costs.

The speech synthesis had been abandoned.

Including the SC-01 chip and all of its command circuitry was not installed.

The board uses the same printed circuit board # B-20887 and the

LM379S amplifier powered by 30 volts

This MA-309 was used in some SYSTEM80A pinballs:

Super Orbit (#680)
Royal Flush Deluxe (#681) first models
Amazon Hunt (#684) first models
And maybe others not sure!

This MA-309 was used in some of Gottlieb Video games such as:

Reactor (#GV100) -------------- I HAVE THESE SOUND ROMS

Mad Planets (#GV102) --------- I HAVE THESE SOUND ROMS

Q*Bert (#GV103) --------------- I do NOT have ROMS

Krull (#GV105) ----------------- I do NOT have ROMS

And maybe others not sure!

It is up to the buyer to decide if this MA-309 Gottlieb SOUND board will work in your application. --- NO RETURNS or REFUNDS

NOTE:

There are some later release boards that are much the same looking. --- But

They replaced the costly amplifier with a TDA 2002 chip powered by 16 Volt.

This TDA 2002 amplifier in some cases is mounted on a daughter board or card raising above the main board at the same location (U23) as the LM379 amplifier..

In my first picture you will notice for identification the Black Diamond shaped fin heat sink at the top right corner of the board. This is for the LM379S amplifier powered by 30 volts on the board for sale

But do not take the internet’s word for it. Do the power test next to make sure what you have

Check your connector for voltages with a meter (voltage +/-10%)

PIN 6 = ground ---- but you should use any other ground, to make it easier

a 1 for pin 1 is marked on the PCB

PIN 1 = +12 volts dc (plus)

PIN 3 = -12 volts dc (minus)

PIN 5 = +5 volts dc(plus)

PIN 10 = +30 volts dc (plus) ---- If you have +16 volt here then you would need to mod your power supply to use the

earlier board that uses+30 volt --- the board I am selling

Do not ask me how, but I have heard of it being done. (check PinWiki)

No existing PIN 10 wire, or connector pin. Then you are looking for a board that is smaller and much different.

My board requires an additional sound board power supply.
