Just to give you an idea about this beautiful piece of art. Nanjing Yunjin has a history of over 1580 years. In the Yuan Ming and Qing Dynasties, Yunjin was chosen as a dedicated material for royal family garment and ranking first among tree major kinds of brocade in an ancient China. The techniques of swivel coiled weaving and varying color from flower to flower in Zhuanghua cannot be handled by a modern machines even nowadays. An inch of Yunjin is said to be as valuable as an ounce of gold. It is woven by a Dahualou Wooden Loom, 5.6 meters long, 1.4 meters wide and 4 meters high, through coordinated manual operation of zhuaihua worker and weaver.
