A rare natural unheated fluorescent chatoyant Ruby cabochon, from Madagascar. This cabochon has rich purple-red hues, beautiful shimmering chatayont hexagonal patterns created by tiny rutile inclusions following the formation of the ruby, and deep red fluorescence under UV light. An utterly gorgeous piece.
