Fine Blue and White Porcelain Vase - CHINA - Kangxi (1662-1722)

Old and antique, a small fine vase probably dating from China's Kangxi Period (1662-1722 ). Wonderfully painted in a design of temples, mountains and flowering trees, with flying birds depicted on the back. Skillfully decorated in blue and white, with red highlights. Blue Artemisia leaf mark on bottom, typical of Chinese porcelain from the Kangxi Period. No chips, cracks or repairs apparent. Purchased years ago at sale in a group of 19th century blue and white Chinese porcelain, this piece was the only piece with red decoration. This is from my personal collection that I am selling to downsize. A beautiful example of 17th Century Chinese porcelain !
