I cover the top and bottom of the comic with cardboard padding

I then use painters tape to secure the comic inthe Gemini mailer

I fold the ends of the tape to create tape flaps, so it is easy for youto remove the comic without damaging it.

The end result of this careful packaging is you won't damage the comic when removing it from the package and you won't have tape anywhere on the bag of the comic.
