This sale is for a group of 2 of British/UK pattern 1903 MK II leather ammo bandoliers. One of these examples is dated 1939 and one is dated 1940 as seen in the photos. They were manufactured for WWII (originally dyed brown) even though it\'s a design from earlier in the century and more commonly seen in the time around WWI and the Irish War of Independence. This design dated in the WWII time period is actually very rare. These straps were later dyed black as post-war surplus for deployment elsewhere in the greater UK or around the world. The leather is somewhat stiff and has cracks. One strap is torn through as visible in the photos.
