Crafted out of clay-like faience, beads were commonly worn to protect the wearer from misfortune, rather than a status symbol.

The Egyptian word for lick is "Sha," & "Sha Sha," came to be the word for the bead. These beads were also buried with mummies to protect their journey to the afterlife.

Multiple displays available! Each display will have a unique set of beads.
