$43.69
Early Middle Palaeolithic triangular biface created on a core-lile flint flake. C 200k YBP.
The biface has been made by a hard hammer creating steeply faced facets. It is robust and consists of dihedral point and a retouched beveled proximal end scraper. Due to the robustness of the beveled proximal edge, it is possible that this tool may have been used for wood working.
The dorsal side has small area of cortex which appears to have frost pock marks.
