Chalkware Sailing Schooner Doorstop Bookend Vintage Chalk Sculpture To Restore. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This Ship is in fair condition. I am selling it for someone with an interest in restoring chalkware. The doorstop overall is not in bad shape and has no major break offs. The item is scratched and needs to be re-painted. Chalkware, made out of plaster of Paris was used to create versions of more expensive items, many times given away at carnivals and known at Carnival chalk. Because of the fragility of the pieces early versions are harder to find. This one has survived but needs love or could be displayed as a more primitive piece in the right setting. The schooner measures 10\" x 10\". Please see photos for details. I would love to see this one sailing home again.
