One of the RAREST ofBORIS KARLOFFautographs. After the release of Universal's 1931 Frankenstein, actor Boris Karloff would sign when asked for his autograph "Boris Karloff, Frankenstein, this lasted until the pre-production of "The Bride Of Frankenstein". By that point Karloff was afraid he would forever be typecast and no longer would sign Frankenstein with his name.
My late Uncle Milton, worked in the publicity departments of several Movie Studios in California. From 1931 thru 1939 he was at Universal. He than went to MGM until the War started, after his service he returned back to Universal. During the 1950's he appeared in Numerous films, including (Creature with the Atom Brain) playing the role of Frank Buchanan, the man behind the Zombies. Uncle Frank and his life-partnereventually became the Co-owners of a Talent Agency in New York and Los Angeles. My Uncle was always "Star-struck" and obtained hundreds of autographs. I along with two of my cousins were lucky enough to be the recipients of many of those autographs. I have sold most of them in the last couple of years, to both Dealers and Collectors. I am now offering the last of the collection so that someone else may enjoy them.
NO, there is no COA, however I have included a very detailed "Letter Of Provenance". My Uncle was as honest as the day is long, if he said something was so, it was so. The three of us have never had a single problem with any of the two thousand plus autographs from the collection. I am not a dealer, merely a collector of autographs by happenstance. I am happy to answer any questions I can, but bear in mind I am 69 years old and disabled, so I may not answer quickly, I will answer though if I can.
