Anyone familiar with Manara will know that his work often pushes the boundaries and this graphic novel, where he teamed up with fellow boundary-pushing Alejandro Jodorowsky, is no exception. This graphic novel contains graphic and vivid scenes of nudity, sexual content, and violence. This is also a gorgeous rare hardcover collection of the four-book Manara / Jodorowsky collaboration, in Italian language format. The book is large format, approximately 12 inches by 9.5 inches in dimension, and is 216 pages total (each original issue was of 54 pages).The book was published by Panini Comics. The English language equivalent collection was published by Dark Horse comics and is similarly hard to find. This particular copy is in great condition, with some minor dings and dents to the cover at the bottom part of the cover, thumb edge (visible in the zoomed in pictures). It is otherwise like new. I do not believe this edition came with a dust jacket. If you purchase this from me I will ship safely with the book wrapped and sandwiched in cardboard, in an appropriately-sized box.
