Antique Vacuum Oil Co B.W. Sperm Oil Wooden Box with Metal can late 1800\'s or early 1900\'s.
Vacuum Oil Company (Rochester, NY) wooden box with a metal (tin or zinc) container inside.
The container once held whale oil. The can is pretty rusted out on top but the bottom and sides are ok.
The box is in good condition for its age with a company logo on two sides. One side is more legible than the other.
It is missing its wooden cover and missing a piece where the spout comes out but would make a great rustic display or shelf sitter.
It is about 16\" tall by 11\" by 12\" including the attached side boards that held the cover.
