Because of brothel rules forofferdingneedless touching, the cigarettes were given to the buyer in a tray and payment returned in the same manner,allwhilethe female attendant stood still holding the tray upright. Encased in glass on the top of the tray is photographic advertisement for Fred Dolle's Triumph Hair Vigor, a popular elixiralso sold at houses of ill repute.
