For Sale Interesting Historical Souvenir : A Section of Timber Removed from the White House after 112 Years of Service, Piece of Lumber that Supported the Roof of the Executive Mansion. Presented by National Lumber Manufacturers Association in Original box with tag attached to it. It was mailed to a Burlington Iowa address. Measures approx. 4" x 2 1/4". In the bottom of the box is a small brochure that explains more about the wood.At the time 5000 pieces of wood were to be mailed to School Principals who requested them from the Lumber Ass'n. A Great Presidential Historical Collectible w Original Box. Box has split on 1 end flap. Sells As-is, As-shown.
