Interesting and elaborate French porcelain 4 piece cup warmer, for coffee, tea, or whatever.was made by Alfred Hache sometime around 1903-1910.
from the lid down, we have the lid, which 1 discovered the knob had been glued, but fairly well.next is the cup itself, flared to fit in the liner, and is in excellent shape, bit of wear to gold on handle. holds 7 oz.next is the liner for the cup, I imagine it held water, like a double boiler?, this does have a large chip.last is the base for the candle, this looks perfect. measures 4 3/8\" in diameter at bottom, handles a bit more.all the floral design is hand painted.stands 9 3/8\" tall, weighs in at 2 lbs., 2 oz.
it displays very well, and looks great on the shelf.
