This recent find comes from Estate of Retired Military Officer and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center Aerospace Engineer/Physicist who worked on many projects including Mercury and Apollo missions through Space Shuttle missions that laid the groundwork for the International Space Station and later played a critical role in the development and launch of the Hubble Space Telescope, including Mission Control - Most importantly Mr. Young (Previous owner) was the Inventor and holds patent on the Solar-Array system that powers Hubble and the "ISS" International Space Station. Listing includes a 1970s NASA MSFC SOLAR ARRAY TECHNOLOGY INVENTION PRESENTATION BREIFCASE (KOCH OF CALIFORNIA). Briefcase includes items used to Test and do Presentation's for the Solar Array Technology that Mr. Young holds the patent (see last two pictures).A copy of the patent will be included in the listing.Technology was first demonstrated in space on the OAST-1. Briefcase is full of a variety of items used for his presentations including (currently tested/working - see video) test solar array, various (BOEING Spectrolab) produced solar samples used in testing of OAST-1, 1st Generation NASA Concept PHOTOS, Red Serial Number Photos where the technology was tested in Zero Gravity along with a Deployment Photo from OAST-1, various Lockheed materials and MORE. This is a RARE collection! All photos are 1st Generation "THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK" with the deployment photo having purple ink stamp/details. All items are in Very Good condition for use and age with some expected use/age and storage wear.
