Note: A very nice fellow member contacted me to let me know some neat, historical, information about this photo. He said, “That image is super imposed on the background of the street shot. A second filming of her was done in a recreation in a studio. You can tell by how brightly her image is to how dark the background remains. More light would have spilled over.”

I am so thrilled to learn this new, historical, information about this famous photo shoot, absolutely amazing.

Selling my extremely rare original Marilyn Monroe photograph taken during the filming of “The Seven Year Itch” White dress press photograph taken by Sam Shaw. Here she is looking absolutely stunning in her iconic dress. In excellent condition. Size 8 x 10. This was produced from the original negative or transparency and it’s gelatin silver. Very rare hard to find pose from the original negative. From Lester Glassner’s Neal Peter’s collection. I believe that is Glassner’s actual signature on back. Stamped by Glassner on back. This pose made it onto one of my collector cards, card not included but shown in the last photos for reference. Produced from the original negative or transparency in the 70’s or 80’s.
