Mike Dubel
Dubel was a popular model for Douglas who created a variety of stunningly beautiful images that captured Dubel\'s visceral masculinity and sensuality. He is featured prominently in the Janssen volume of Douglas\' work from the American Photography of the Male Nude 1940-1970 series.
Douglas Juleff of Detroit
A master of light and tone, Douglas never photographed less than perfection. He specialized in photographing competitive bodybuilders from his own Great-Lakes region, including Jim Park, Bob Delmonteque, Stan Stanczyk, Jack Delinger and Vic Seipke. Along with the work of Lon Hanagan and Al Urban, Douglas\' images in particular helped set the standard for physique photography in professional publications like Strength & Health. His use of light and contrast are unparalleled among his contemporaries.
