This listing is for a number of individual: 1\4 Pound lots Choice to Mid Grade Fire Agate, from Aguascalientes, Mexico. These have always been my favorite type of Fire Agate! They hold the most potential for rough Fire Agate in my personal opinion. Each stone has been inspected by me to ensure it has great potential to produce a beautiful finished product. There are lots of pieces showing bright colors right on the exterior of the stone.

These are superior to anything else on the market in this price range. Some of the listings I’ve seen recently are for tumbled and ground down stones that have been heavily picked through. It’s rare to find good color in those stones, but they sell for a premium just because of their location of origin.

I don’t include pieces that are too small or heavily included. I try to make sure that each piece has the potential to create a beautifully finished stone, with skilled carving. I teach my carving techniques on YouTube at Fire Agate Mark. I’ll be posting a video of me grading these stones. Just search Fire Agate Mark grading Stones. These lots are at Least 1/4 pound (4 ounces, or 112 Grams) and will have a good mix of sizes from about .75” to 4.5” inches or (1.5 cm to 10cm). These pieces will be dry when I pick them out and weigh them. It’s a blind grab, but from carefully chosen material.

I’m going to do these quarter pound parcels so everyone can get a chance at some. I’ll be offering discounts for multiple parcels. And for multiple lots, I’ll be including a few of the larger stones. Please let me know if you have any questions. When you get your stones, soak them in water for a few hours before inspecting them in good light. If you are not satisfied with them, simply let me know, and return them unaltered for a refund. Refunds only available in the USA.
