UFOS actually means Unidentified Flying Objects
...of which there have been many thousands of sightings, since the middle ages.
Most have been explained away, but a significant number that have been well documented, refuse to go away.
Many years ago I saw a group of three, flying above Toronto bay, Canada. There were five people who stopped their (3) cars, and were pointing upwards. I stopped got out and watched...within
three minutes the show was over. It was a very clear and sunny evening.
The following morning the 'Globe and Mail' reported that hundreds of people had witnessed the event.
Since I had no rational explanation, this event has remained very clear in my memory.
I do believe that there are occasional unidentified objects that hover/fly/twinkle? causes unknown.
I would like to believe they are extraterrestial
but with no proof I must (sadly) reject that idea. Nevertheless I remain an avid reader of such reports.
