Re: Feo: selective death delivery (Amaranth Rose)

I'm no proponent of large scale organic food farms (outside of one's own garden that is), since it depletes the soil for subsequent harvests; thus depleting the nutritive value of the food planted there; leading to a topsoil unable to grow anything before being blown away in the next dustbowl.

I'm all for pursuing opportunities that benefit humanity wherever you find them, whether it be in jellyfish toxin, weed killer, or cigarettes.

But the fact that researchers found something beneficial in Round-Up weed killer is a fluke to take advantage of: R.U. wasn't designed that way any more than the bozo who bet his life savings on the turn of the wheel in the casino had a sure-fire method of winning.

So maybe a little bit of Round-up is good for you. Or maybe it's really bad for you and only an extract of it is worthwhile. We'll see.

It fascinates me to think that some good could be found in all of the world's morbidities.

Even cancer may hold the key to creating a significantly longer life span.

But I won't be patting Monsanto on the back any time soon.
