What do you mean birth-defects? We are all made in God's image aren't we? Thus we must all be perfect. Different but perfect. And God made all of those things you are referring to as diseases so they too are beautiful and perfect as was their creator. Think of how beautiful and loving it is to watch a small child die of polio or rabies. Going to join God in heaven and all.
Geez ... there is nothing worse than a religious hypocrite ... either believe your garbage or the invisible purple rhinoceros is going to make you take your medication again.
