The board is filling up with fundies and most of them are Kathleen's clones. From the "french" biologist to the least little yes-moms. It's not hard to guess what their agenda is. This board has been increasingly confronted with these attempts to drive logic, reason and science into obscurity with attacks like this. The grand battle cry of the fundies last few years has been to shut down all boards that discuss Science (that they don't approve of), and we're about the last in line.

Does anyone know of some other boards, preferrably with registration and moderation, where people discuss Science, real Science, unmolested? I think this is the last one that is free and open to all comers that has as its goal the open discussion of Science. Some things that are good need a certain amount of protection; choice pastures get fences, and we don't even have that here. Kathleen has very smirkingly claimed that she posts a lot of stuff here. I could count the numer of Science posts and dispute that but it's not worth the time and effort.
