Granted, some of those Apache servers are running Windows or MacOS X.
But not enough to make that much of a difference.
Figure those figures are a million off, allowing for Windows and OS X and all the other UNIX variants that run Apache.
I'll even give you a spare million for dummy webservers.
29 million Linux servers can't be wrong.
I think your 1/4 is a bit borked.
