The better bet would be to crash Phobos onto the Martian surface.
Phobos is racing around Mars at high speed, it's only 3,700miles from its surface and closing by inches every year!
But the best bet would be to nudge a slushy meteorite into Mars. Forget about its internal structure....lets make it habitable.
