Communication With Atoms?

(64.12.96.238)Question.......do any of you think it will eventually be possible to communicate with Atoms in the same or similar manner which the rest of the atoms "communicate" with each other? Albeit a tremendously long shot in a vast amount of darkness, but I truly believe that one day it will indeed be possible for this communication to take place. After all, we are on the verge right now of working with Quantum computation, who's to say that this level of communication will not be possible for the betterment of all on many other levels outside of artificial computing? Just a thought. :)
