I read the article and found it quite interesting. I recently read "The Elegant Universe" about string theory and, while it was quite interesting, I didn't come out very convinced. I decided to adopt a wait and see attitude. The Scientific American article about quantum space and quantum time seemed to me to be more satisfactory. I don't know enough math to be able to follow either theory in detail so I just have to go on how well it seems to fit what I already know. Part of my good feeling about it is that it is, in many ways, an extension of quantum theory. And of course quantum theory has been extremely successful.
Of course a final decision is waiting on some kind of experimental proof. I will just have to wait and see what comes out. Then I will jump on the band wagon and say, "See, that's what I always said".
