I find nothing unbelievable about your story.

But you don't need the skull to prove your find.

Without much doubt there are other bones and much other evidence at the collection site the could be found and identified by professionals.

I would contact a local university, get the anthropology department on the phone, and offer to take a professor and some of his students to the site.

Who knows. We might some day get to read about the discovery of flukusman.
