It is very unpleasant for people to consider that possibility that they may be responsible, in some measure for what happens.
Far better to blame it on god or so-called acts of god. That way you can continue doing what you have been doing and bear no responsibility.
You may be correct. You may be incorrect. It does not matter. Faliable humans will deny responsibility no matter the facts.
