I didn't misspell "insanity" ... I intended what I wrote.
XP is still capable of producing the Blue Screen of Death with alarming regularity if using non-Microsoft products (which is of course M$'s intent). It hides basic functionality where it is hard to find (try setting up environment variables or configuring services. It used to be only 4 mouse clicks from the desktop. Now it is 7 or 8)
I have just about dropped all use of Windows and no doubt will be done with it completely in the near future given the direction of XP.
