There are a number of good sources of information on the net for treatment or amelioration of poison ivy, oak, or sumac.

Most useful remedies involve basic substances like baking soda, with or without the addition of equal quantities of blender-ground oatmeal. They help to neutralize and adsorb the rhuusic (sp?) acid, which is the active ingredient.
