Hmmmm.......what part of "ALL the law...." is being overruled here?
For all of us to consider: the Law was needed and granted to show us our Sin. If we didn't have it, we wouldn't know that we were doomed (Rom 7:7). But in these N.T. times, should we choose to receive it, we live under the mantle of God's Grace, not Law (Rom 6:14). But He's a gentleman and won't barge in where He's not wanted.
Christ has obviated the Law by fulfilling it. We can choose to become heirs to that by accepting His substitutionary death. The Law has no claim upon a N.T. believer...
...or have I missed something?
