I use ear pluggs, and a govt issue aurla protectors

the combination of the two seem to cut a great deal of the outside noise, trouble is I then have to deal with the sound from the blood rushing through my brain or whatever is in there.your correct an ibm notepad and several miles distance is my prefered method of concentration.
