None of that disputes the fact that I see on PBS specials about how to use Chi and other Eastern religions to cleanse/design your home, and how to make your life better through them.
It's politically correct to give wide berth to less-than-mainstream religions without going too far to the whacko side. The only reason this is true is Christianity has had more air time than anything else up to now and stations are trying to seem more dilluted than each other with various religious pomp.
How society treats religion isn't the same as how popular media treats it.
