Hmm. I guess since Dupont will be celebrating their 200th anniversary in July of this year, that’s a pretty good indication they only plan a couple of months in advance. And since Dupont speaks of positioning their company for the market as it will exist 20-50 years from now they are really only thinking of the next quarters returns. It’s just talk after all. And since they are currently investing in projects that may not see a return for a years and years to come, it’s just smoke and mirrors.

I didn’t bother looking at Hershey Foods since the first example you gave turned out to be so accurate.
